The ADDIE method is a way to generate and implement new training materials for your company. Continuous Quality Improvement and communication with subject matter experts are imperative. This is how it works:
The first step is to analyze the needs of the company. Who the target audience is for the trainings, and what will be the best way to deliver the material (online self-guided training, videos, face-to-face, blended, webinar?)
We will have discussions with your subject matter experts within your company, and also complete research regarding your topic.
We will create a blueprint for the instruction; completed with a logical sequence, storyboards, and rough drafts of scripts.
We will develop, assemble, and organize the digital and print deliverables that were begun in the design phase.
Continuous Quality Improvement starts at this stage. We will do a test group of the material and get feedback.
This is when your training is delivered to the group.
It is imperative to do an awareness campaign before the materials are presented. Getting manager buy-in is imperative for implementation.
To continue quality improvement methods summative and formative evaluations will be completed to ensure that the trainings are both concise, informative, and productive.
